Agents of Change for Environment (ACE) is a student membership program by GRIHA Council to bring along the future generations of architects and engineers together and provide an interactive platform for disseminating knowledge around GRIHA way of greening INDIA. Green Tour at SVA GRIHA-rated EMPRI Annex building, Bangalore spreads awareness about green buildings

The objective was to familiarize visitors, who were media professionals; professionals from construction industry and students with the concept of green building. The aim was to make them aware of the pressing need to invest in creating sustainable habitat in order to mitigate the effects of climate change.

NHPC Corporate Office Phase 2, Faridabad, Haryana awarded 4 star provisional rating

It’s a GRIHA 4 star Rated (provisional) project in Faridabad, Haryana. The project has demonstrated 20% reduction in energy consumption and 30.95% reduction in building water consumption below the GRIHA base case. A 70 kWp renewable energy installation has been installed on rooftop.

A three-day training workshop is being organized by GRIHA Council in association with TERI from July 13-15, 2016 in Bangalore. The workshop aims at enhancing the knowledge on green buildings and GRIHA rating parameters for building professionals like architects, engineers, developers, policy makers and others. The faculty for the training programme will be professionals from GRIHA Council as well as other certified GRIHA professionals.

GRIHA Council,an independent Society created by TERI and Ministry of New and renewable Energy (MNRE),Government of India to administer,implement and promote GRIHA(Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment), India's own rating system, in partnership with Newtown Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA),West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBHIDCO) and Smart City Mission is conducting a half day workshop on 'Green buildings and habitat - the GRIHA way' for professionals associated with the building industry from both public and private sectors at Kolkata. The programme would enable the building professionals help create sustainable buildings and habitats,the GRIHA way in West Bengal.
