There is a paradigm shift in water consumption across different sectors due to the rising concern of water scarcity and the interventions from various global organizations. There have been significant efforts from the government and businesses to alter the existing practices of unsustainable consumption and mismanagement of water resources. It becomes important to identify the efficient strategies different stakeholders have adopted to achieve water positivity and also highlight the impediments that come up in achieving water positivity. This session discusses the numerous advancements that are taking place in the country, ongoing R&D in the field as well as its contribution in terms of water conservation, water reuse, and water recharge technologies.
