Infrastructure is an indispensable catalyst for economic growth and societal development. It encompasses various essential services such as transportation systems, electricity-generation, and hydropower facilities, as well as water supply and hygiene networks. However, it is imperative that this infrastructure is sustainable and of high quality. By providing a sturdy foundation, it not only contributes to enhancing economic, social, and environmental conditions but also fosters inclusive growth and equitable opportunities for all. By exploring the interdependencies between infrastructure and community well-being, this session seeks to emphasize the significance of adopting sustainable practices in infrastructure planning, design, and implementation.
