GRIHA Council had organised an Experience Sharing Event- to dive deep into GRIHA in association with Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) on 22nd October 2018 at Sheraton Grand in Pune.

The event was organised to bring likeminded professionals and stakeholders together and discuss the ease of rating a project under GRIHA. Dr. D K Abhyankar, Director General, Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) Pune Metro delivered the special address accentuating on the need of having sustainable development in Pune region and also launched the Marathi version of GRIHA brochures along with other dignitaries present at the event, including Mr. Sanjay Kulkarni, Executive Engineer, Environmental Engineering, PCMC, Mr. Sanjay Seth, CEO, GRIHA Council and Ms. Shabnam Bassi, Secretary, GRIHA Council.

On the very same platform, Mr. Sandeep Sonigra, Founder, Orange County Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GRIHA Council to enhance the green quotient of their upcoming developments in the region, which was one of the key highlights of the event. Post MoU signing, various experts such as Ar. Sunil Patil, Principle Architect, Sunil Patil and Associates, Ar. Poorva Keskar, Director, VK:e environmental LLP, Er. Sanjay Deshpande, Head, Sanjeevani Group shared their views on the ease of rating their projects under the national rating system and the cost effectiveness aspects.

The event which witnessed 27 professionals representing the prominent builders of the city was supported by Orange County Foundation and Pharande Spaces. Overall the event was well received by the participants.
