GRIHA Awareness Programme for PCMC Official
An awareness program for PCMC (Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation) officials was organized by GRIHA Council on 14th December 2017, which marks the 27th National Energy Conservation Day. The primary objective of the program was to introduce the focus areas of GRIHA and reiterate the involvement of PCMC officials during the project course and while releasing the incentives for final GRIHA certified projects. The need and benefits of green building, overview of GRIHA and its variants, process and also the common points under environmental clearance and GRIHA were highlighted during the presentation, delivered by Ar. Ketaki Karmarkar, Manager, PCMC, Pune, GRIHA Council.
The program was graced by Mr. A. A. Pathan, Joint City Engineer, Building Permission department, Mr Dudhekar, Joint City Engineer, Water Supply and Drainage department and Mr. Sanjay Kulkarni, Executive Engineer, Environment department along with other concerned officers such deputy engineers, junior engineers of Building permission and Environment department. Over 32 officials from both the departments enthusiastically participated in the program.
