A one-day intensive training programme on GRIHA for Existing Building (EB) was organized by GRIHA Council in association with Ela Green Building & Infrastructure Consultants on 30th May, 2018 at Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation (SIDCO), Chennai. The training programme aimed at enhancing the knowledge of stakeholders on GRIHA Council’s variant for existing buildings.

The training focused on Site Parameters, Maintainence & Housekeeping, Energy, Water, Occupant Health & Comfort and Social Aspects with respect to existing buildings. Each criterion was explained through a presentation followed by exercises and hands on session on the feasibility tool.

The programme was attended by building professionals like architects, engineers, developers, policy makers and students. The training was very well received by the participants.
