Objective of 2015 GRIHA Bangalore Conference:
India is expected to stand as the 3rd largest construction market in the world by 2025. The current Indian construction market is booming with technology and government policies, such as the most recent announcement of Ministry of Urban Development on their perspective of smart cities. However, it is important to note that the current building stock is 25 billion sq.ft, which is expected to reach 100 by 2030, our green building foot print is still at 2.6 billion sq.ft. 2015 Bangalore Conference aims to bring together scientists, research professionals, academicians, practitioners and other building industry stakeholders from across the country and abroad to present, debate and discuss on how to accelerate sustainability in built environment, with the objective to make 100% built environment in India sustainable and efficient.
