National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) is an apex national body for the real estate industry that was set up in 1998 under the aegis of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India. Back in 2021, NAREDCO Mahi was launched to explore the projects for growth of women in the real estate and associated sectors.

This year NAREDCO Mahi’s 2nd real estate convention was organized on 3rd March 2023. Ms. Shabnam Bassi, Dy. CEO, GRIHA Council was part of the panel discussion on “Green Buildings and Sustainability” organized in the convention. The panel brought together industry experts of the built environment that are working towards sustainable development in the sector. Ms. Bassi shed light on the waste management practices of the built environment with examples of on-ground reality and the behavioral last mile disconnect in solution interventions.

The programme was very well received and was attended by more than 150 participants.
