Ms Shabnam Bassi, Deputy CEO-cum-Secretary and Treasurer, GRIHA Council and Director, TERI was invited to the Global Sustainability Summit scheduled on 9th February 2024, Friday organized by Delhi Management Association (DMA), ESG Committee. As one of the panelists for the session on ‘Circular Economy and LiFE’, Ms Shabnam Bassi deliberated on sustainable transformation of the construction and building sector based on the circular economy model. Aligning with the Government of India’s Mission LiFE, she highlighted on inculcating behavioral change, investing in R&D for developing sustainable technologies and identifying pragmatic strategies. She emphasized on informed decision making for promoting circularity in the built environment thereby, fostering sustainable development and bolstering economic resilience.
