An Agreement was signed between Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board (MPHID) and GRIHA Council (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) on January 13, 2017 in Bhopal in order to integrate environmental susceptibility and natural atmosphere in the schemes of the Board.

The Board's Chairman Shri Krishna Murari Moghe and Commissioner Shri Nitesh Vyas were present on the occasion. Shri Moghe said that the agreement to adopt the green building concept in the schemes of the Board would benefit common customers. A presentation on the scheme was delivered by Shri Sanjay Seth.

As per the agreement, the green building concept will be adopted in important residential projects of the Board and in the buildings constructed for the state government.
