GRIHA Council signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BESTECH Group, Gurgaon on January 10, 2017 at TERI, IHC. The MoU was signed by Mr Dharmendra Bhandari, Managing Director, BESTECH Group and Shri Sanjay Seth, Chief Executive Officer cum Secretary, GRIHA Council, in the presence of Dr Ajay Mathur, President, GRIHA Council and other senior officials of BESTECH Group and GRIHA Council.

BESTECH and GRIHA Council announced their collaboration for promotion and implementation of the Green Building Concept and Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA) rating system for all its projects—current and upcoming Pan India ones, aggregating nearly 12 million sq. ft. Through this collaboration, GRIHA Council will provide support to BESTECH for obtaining GRIHA Certification for their projects, and will facilitate project registration as well. Additionally, GRIHA will also help BESTECH in setting up a project implementation unit at their office for executing GRIHA certification work.
