The HUDA administrator, Mr Praveen Kumar, said that even as Gurgaon was not a badly planned city, it could be a better planned one. He was speaking at a daylong workshop on Promoting Green Buildings on May 07. The workshop was organized by Gurgaon First, a citizens' initiative. He said there was a need for a separate administrator to deal with the hundreds of builders in the district. Gurgaon already has a number of green buildings to its credit such as the ITC Green Centre, Fortis Hospital, IRRAD Building, Wipro Campus, Delta India Electronics Unit, Tatvam Vilas and the TERI Retreat.
