MoU between GRIHA Council and the Sheffield Hallam University
GRIHA Council has been fortunate in establishing great partnerships over the last 16 years since its inception. These valuable partnerships have been of immense support to GRIHA for successful implementation of sustainable practices in the construction sector.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between GRIHA Council and the Sheffield Hallam University on June 21, 2022 at Sheffield Hallam University, UK.
Mr. Sanjay Seth, Chief Executive Officer, GRIHA Council and Professor Paul Chamberlain, Head of Lab4Living signed the MoU on behalf of both the organizations. This collaboration between GRIHA Council and Sheffield Hallam University Lab4Living would provide research funding opportunities that would eventually enable research and development in the areas of environment, products, and services. There is a synergy in the intent of both the organizations i.e. promotion and advancement of sustainability in the built environment.

SHU is a university in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. The University is the 14th largest university in the UK. Lab4Living, set up in 2007, is a trans-disciplinary research group within SHU, based on a collaborative community of researchers in design, healthcare and creative practices. They address real world issues that impact on health and wellbeing, developing products, services and interventions that promote dignity and enhance quality of life.
