Mud and lime Workshops
The mud and lime workshop was well received by all the participants. Ar. Shreya Srivastava ensured a great learning and experience session on this construction technique.
The participants were taken on an interactive tour around the project where they were introduced with the environment friendly techniques which were incorporated in the project. It was followed by a technical session to explain about the concepts of mud and lime along with its history and examples.
After lunch the hands on training session was conducted where the participants enjoyed making a batch of mortar. They were guided and supported by the expert masons from Rajasthan. Then the participanit carried the mortar to a sample workstation where, the experts demonstrated the technique of its application. All were divided into groups of 2-3 and then they made a patch on a wall, trying to get the method. They were being checked and supported by the experts which elevated the learning experience.
