The Ministry of National Development (MND) and the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city Administrative Committee (ECAC) have launched a new R&D collaboration programme on green building technologies in the Tianjin Eco-city. Under the programme, the MND and the ECAC will each set aside up to S$2 million a year for three years. The money will be used to fund research projects relating to green building technologies that are jointly undertaken by Singapore and Chinese researchers in Tianjin Eco-city. The funding cap of each research project is S$1 million. Approved projects should be completed within two years.
