TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) in partnership with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India has been organizing YUVA Meet - 'Youth Unite for Voluntary Action' since 2009. It is a special event of the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit (DSDS), an annual international summit organized as a flagship event of TERI since 2001. DSDS is a global forum that seeks to provide long-term solutions for sustainable development. It has witnessed participation by global stakeholders including heads of state/government, ministers and dignitaries comprising Nobel laureates, development practitioners, scientists, academicians, and corporate leaders from across the world. As every year, select group of participants from YUVA will be invited to participate in DSDS 2014 and thus providing them an opportunity to represent the voice of the youth at this global platform.
