Mr. Sanjay Seth, Vice President & CEO, GRIHA Council and Senior Director, Sustainable Habitat Programme, TERI was invited at the launch of Urban Living Lab (ULL) in Vishakhapatnam on 17th May 2023. The ULL was launched with collaborative efforts of TERI - The Energy and Resources Institute in collaboration with the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) and United Nations University - Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS).

The event was graced by the presence of Smt. Golagani Hari Venkata Kumari, Hon’ble Mayor GVMC and Shri. C.M Saikanth Varma, IAS, Hon’ble Commissioner GVMC. The ULL aims to help promote collaborative action towards anticipated and existing climatic challenges by using real-time data sets to enhance and connect various urban themes for development and planning.

During his address in the event, Mr. Seth added that, "In this ever dynamic world, data driven decision making platforms can assist in augmenting the capacity of local actors and communities to collaborate on forward looking, transformative climate actions and by setting up the urban living lab we plan to do exactly the same."
