1 Day Training Program

GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) is the indigenous rating system for Green Buildings and Habitats of India, developed by TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute)and subsequently adopted and adapted by MNRE(Ministry of New and Renewable Energy), Govt of India as the National Rating System.

GRIHA reflects Indian ethos, culture and context, and coupled with sensible modern approaches and developments in the domain of built-environment helps promote and implement ,our country's energy & environmental norms, standards, policies and programs for achieving sustainability in its buildings and habitats.

Like Govt of India and other State Govts and Corporations, in Gujarat also, GRIHA is being increasingly adopted for environmental performance rating of buildings and habitats. Among the prominent ones in Gujarat, is the campus for IIT Gandhinagar. Most of the new State Gov. Hospitals are registered with GRIHA Council for GRIHA rating.

In this context, in order to mainstream and impart further impetus to its adoption by all stakeholders in the State, GRIHA Council with support of MNRE, is organizing, a one day program on GRIHA on October 9, 2015, in Ahmadabad, for all building sector professionals–architects, engineers, consultants, builders/developers, and decision-makers in government and corporations.
