State-owned ONGC's first Green Building in the country was inaugurated by the company's CMD Mr Sudhir Vasudeva on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. An iconic building of Uttarakahand, it has been named green hills as it reflects the verdant green hills surrounding the Sivalik range. Addressing the gathering at the inaugural function the company's chairman and managing director said ONGC hopes with the formal inauguration of its first green building it will usher in an era of undiminishing energy. Four more green buildings are coming up at ONGC Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
