1 Day Training Program

GRIHA_EB

GRIHA Council is organizing a one-day online training programme designed to equip building owners, operators, and facility managers with the knowledge and tools to transform existing buildings into sustainable spaces through GRIHA for Existing Buildings (GRIHA EB).

About GRIHA EB:

GRIHA EB is a comprehensive green building rating system specifically designed to evaluate the performance of existing buildings. It provides a roadmap for enhancing energy and water efficiency, improving thermal and visual comfort, and reducing operational and maintenance costs. It is a 100-point rating system consisting of 12 criteria categorized under seven sections such as Site Parameters, Maintenance & Housekeeping, Energy, Water, Human Health & Comfort, Social Aspects, and Bonus points. Six of these 12 criteria are mandatory, while the rest are optional. Each criterion, except from the six mandatory criteria, has a number of points assigned to it. It means that a project intending to meet the criterion would qualify for the points. The minimum points required for rating is 25.
