Pune's Municipal Commissioner Mr Shrikar Pardeshi while speaking at a seminar organised by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai), Association For Development And Research of Sustainable Habitats (ADARSH) and the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that projects less than 2500 square metres can be given green rating under the SVA (Simple Versatile Affordable) GRIHA rating system. With this new rating it will be possible to construct greener buildings, thereby popularising the concept of green construction.
