Pondicherry University to offer country's first MBA-LLM joint degree course
Pondicherry University proposes to introduce the country's first MBA-LLM joint degree course. The University Vice-Chancellor Dr Chandra Krishnamurthy announced the proposal while presenting a report during the 23rd convocation of the university on September 25 2013. Dr Chandra said the university submitted a proposal to the ministry of new and renewable energy seeking financial assistance to promote eco-friendly projects in the 110-acre silver jubilee campus. She added that all new buildings were designed as per the green building concepts and Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (Griha) as directed by the UGC. She pointed out that the building for Madanjeet Singh School of Green Energy Technology had been built with '4 star' green ratings of Griha norms.
