Now more than ever, building professionals from owners to engineers are looking for ways to stay competitive in today's challenging times, and the advancing green movement provides a wealth of opportunities. But keeping abreast of developments in the industry, new green technologies, products, policy and the law can be equally challenging. The GreenBuildingsNY 2009 conference, June 16 and 17 in New York City's Javits Convention Center, offers building owners, managers, architects, contractors and engineers a two-day program that features talks and educational panels with industry leaders, as well as a showcase of green products and services to help professionals get ahead of the competition. Nearly 9000 buildings professionals are expected at the conference, which is now in its third year, and some 400 exhibitors will be on hand at the co-located BuildingsNY event, which is celebrating its 29th year.
