Mr. Akash Deep, Senior Programme Manager, GRIHA Council, was part of the online conference on 21st March 2023 that was jointly organized by Ozone Cell, MoEFCC, and CIDC. The agenda of the conference was to deliberate on "Good Management Practices for Energy Efficient Buildings by introducing Passive Cooling Designs, to reduce operational costs, improve health and comfort and promote use of non HCFC and low GWP alternatives”.

Mr. Akash Deep shared the impact analysis of the GRIHA rated projects. GRIHA Council currently has over 3500+ registered projects across the country with a combined green footprint spanning 630+ million square feet. GRIHA rated projects have contributed to water savings of 10,36,11,250 kL/annum, 2,66,770 newly planted trees and 28,000 preserved trees.

The programme received an overwhelming response and was attended by more than 100 participants.
