As part of an on-going UNEP project, TERI is organizing the Sustainable Social Housing Initiative (SUSHI) - Consultation Workshop, to be held in Delhi on June 26, 2014, Silver Oak-II, India Habitat Centre.

The aim of this consultation is to bring together stakeholders involved in affordable housing programs, share the progress/experience on the SUSHI projects in India and abroad and deliberate on further opportunities for sustainable social housing in India. The workshop will provide a good opportunity to present the participant's experience and knowledge of sustainable alternatives for affordable housing, and to discuss the state of affordable housing in the country. The workshop will also allow the selection of priorities for future activities under the Sustainable Social Housing Initiative.
